night night sleep tight

I have a (mostly) sleepless kid at home. And last night, when I had already dressed her for bed (late. don't even ask how late) she insisted on taking some photos. Haha, she just loves the new studio!

Can't access my website www.caf-photo.com? Don't worry, I'm launching a new website tomorrow and the Domain is currently updating! Sometime between right now and tomorrow afternoon the website should be good to go!

Update : I have one business license so far - woohooo :-)
I got mail from Lacey yesterday. Meaning I could technically work in Lacey now. Progress :-)
My studio is complete and waiting for that letter from the City of DuPont containing all needed licenses.
I'm also working on a new website which will be launched a little later this year, hopefully before the end of October. Oh, I also have a new logo, check out the top section of my blog!
I won't change it on the current website anymore but you'll find it again on the new one.

while I wait...

While I wait for my permits in the mail (sometimes it feels I'll still be sitting here waiting when I'm old and gray...) I'm posting some pics I took in Seattle at Pike Place Market the other week.
It was out first time there and we loved it!!! So colorful and lively. That being said, I don't think we'll go on a Sunday at noon again. :-)

permits, permits, permits....

I'm getting a little irritated with all the permits and licensed I need up here to run my business. It seems around every corner a new application for something else is waiting for me. (needless to say I need to include a check 90% of the time.)
I need to apply for a license in every. single. city I conduct business in (as in I go to a park outside my city limits for a photo session). AND FILE TAXES THERE annually! WHAT? So now I've decided to offer service in DuPont, Lacey and Tacoma for now. And see how it goes.
Meaning I'm gonna file Taxes 4 times for one and the same business.
And did I mention I hate paperwork?

Craziness....
